Welcome, St Andrew's Uniting Church is seeking to be a safe place for all people to worship, regardless of race, creed, gender, cultural background or sexual orientation.

Introduction

The St Andrew's Congregation is one of two Uniting Church Congregations in the Central Box Hill Parish. The other congregation in the Central Box Hill Parish is the Hanbit Korean Congregation. Additional information on the Hanbit Congregation can be found at http://www.hanbit-church.net.

To be a Uniting Church which caters for and encourages all age groups, and involves young people, where all members participate in a growing environment of worship, learning, fellowship and caring for the well-being of themselves, the congregation, the community and the wider church.

The Minister

Rev Joseph Kim

Rev Joseph Kim has been kindly supporting the St Andrew’s congregation since December 2020, and has been taking the regular St Andrew’s Sunday morning service since December 2021. Rev Kim is also providing ministry to the Hanbit congregation (please see their excellent website at http://www.hanbit-church.net for more details).

Rev Paul Ryu

Rev Paul Ryu kindly supported the St Andrew’s congregation from December 2020 to November 2021, including by taking the regular St Andrew’s Sunday morning service. We miss Rev Paul, Sarah and their family, and wish them all the very best for the future - thank you so much, Rev Paul!

 

The Church Building

The congregation worships in the bluestone church on the corner of Whitehorse Road and Bruce Street in Box Hill (The church building is the one just opposite the Box Hill tram terminus).
